Solvent exchange by dialysis
We remove residual solvents and adjust the formulation buffer and pH. Cryoprotectants can also be added when required to support LNP stability.

Generate the data needed to assess your formulations. 

 

Physicochemical characterization adapted to your study
We define the characterization scope according to your project requirements, with capabilities including particle size, PDI, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency, stability and RNA integrity. Additional analyses, including morphology, are available through partners. 

 

Biological evaluation, including in vitro and in vivo studies, is not performed in-house.

06 Shipment & reporting

Receive your LNP samples with the data and documentation defined for your project. 

 

Your LNP samples are prepared for shipment and can be shipped worldwide, subject to applicable transport and import requirements. They are provided with the data and detailed reporting defined in the project scope. 

 

Where relevant, projects can include GO/NO-GO decision points before moving to the next stage.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to provide my own RNA? 

Not necessarily. You can provide your own RNA, or we can supply standard eGFP or Fluc mRNA, as well as double-stranded eGFP siRNA. For other RNA sequences, we can recommend trusted suppliers according to your project requirements. 

Can you help if I don’t already have a defined LNP composition? 

Yes. We can start from your payload, available data and experimental objectives to define the scope of a proof-of-concept study. 

Can you work from an existing LNP composition or process? 

Yes. If you already have a defined lipid composition, an existing process or previous development data, we can use these as the starting point and adapt the project scope accordingly. 

Can you produce several LNP compositions for comparison? 

Yes. We can produce multiple LNP samples by varying predefined lipid compositions or process parameters. The scope of the study, number of samples and level of characterization are defined with you before the project starts. 

Am I limited to a specific lipid library? 

No. Your project is not restricted to a closed proprietary lipid library. We can work with commercially available lipids according to your project requirements. 

What if I need analytical data that is not included in your characterization capabilities? 

Our in-house capabilities cover the main physicochemical analyses required for RNA-LNP development. If your project requires additional analytical data, we work with trusted analytical partners to extend these capabilities.
